This group started in May 2019 after conversations between several evaluators revealed a mutual interest in having a space for professionals to network and share resources. Our first meeting was focused on brainstorming and discussing possibilities for what the group could become. At the meeting, we voted to call ourselves LouEval.

 

Since our inception, a planning committee of 10 has helped to plan quarterly meetings based on member feedback. We have also started to hold social events to provide members with a more informal way to network, and are working towards initiatives to advance equitable evaluation in Louisville.
